Image Preloading

Feature Description
Displaying sharp images involves the use of larger files, which can cause galleries to be slow and unresponsive, particularly over 3G and mobile devices; OnSight's SiteShell intelligently "reads-ahead" to load images in advance, just before they are likely to be required, similar to YouTube videos or other streaming media.
This means that there is no irritating "Loading...." message at the start, and when the viewer then clicks "Next", the next sequence of images has already loaded, ready for viewing; the SiteShell then sets about loading the next sequence of images while the viewer is busy admiring those that have just loaded.
