The new website for Susan Jefferies is loosely based on the OnSight SiteShell, providing the usual ease of update, but the Susan and John have decided on a number of variations within the system, including:
  • Adaptive navigation across the entire site
  • Navigation and viewing via scrolling of full-size images
  • Display of a single random image on the home page, with the system automatically showing the image at a size to match the site visitor's screen resolution
Opting to show only full-size images would normally introduce speed-related issues to a site, however the SiteShell's pre-emptive preloading allows the new site to perform at a speed that compares favourably to a regular thumbnail-driven website.

We will also be adding the updated OnSight Viewing & Ordering System to the site, enabling Susan's clients to log in, view and order their images directly from the website.
