Happy Faces Day

The Irish Professional Photographers Association (IPPA) organises "Happy Faces Day" on April 1st each year to harness the goodwill and the photographic skills of its members for the benefit of a children's charity.

Since it first launched in 2006, IPPA Happy Faces Day has raised €120,000 for its chosen charities.

OnSight developed the original Happy Faces Day website in 2006 to help promote the event, list participating photographers, and allowing those photographers to access to download promotional materials.

The Happy Faces Day site is also integrated into the newly-updated IPPA website, allowing IPPA HQ to update participating members with the click of a button; the IPPA site's member directory also flags participating members with an icon which links to the Happy Faces Day website.

OnSight is delighted to offer most of the work in updating the site based on each year's promotional imaging free-of-charge as our contribution to Happy Faces Day.

For 2009 event we expanded the site to include a "Latest News" feature for participating photographers, allowing them to publicise and promote their Happy Faces Day activities and events.
