The countdown to the 2010 IPPA Happy Faces - an annual event which takes place in April each year to raise much-needed funds for a selected charity - has begun!

With many photographers offering their services free-of-charge, OnSight is delighted to once again be involved, donating our time and expertise to develop and maintain the event's dedicated website.

Click on the link below to locate your nearest participating photographer and find out more; you can have your picture taken at your local qualified IPPA photographers studio or event location for just a €25 donation, 100% of which will go to this year's charity, The Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland.

March 9th, 2010Morgan Kilgallen Update

The new website for Morgan Kilgallen is now live!

The new site contains a comprehensive range of wedding, portrait, commercial and creative photography galleries, details of Morgan's wedding albums and packages, a subtle slideshow overview, as well as latest news/blog and awards gallery sections.

Based on the OnSight SiteShell, the site provides the innovative preloading mechanism which allows full-size images to be displayed in a scrolling fashion, while not impacting on the speed at which the site operates, and also allows Morgan to caption his images from within the image JPEG files, providing maximum search engine responsiveness.

March 5th, 2010IPPA Orientation Day

The next IPPA Orientation Day for New Licentiates will take place on Friday, March 5th at IPPA Headquarters in Muirfield Drive, Dublin, and OnSight will once again be presenting a talk on the various approaches that you can take to avail of the opportunities that a professionally-designed website can offer you.

Our presentation will give you insight into achieving the best return from your investment in your website, giving you invaluable information on the importance of domain name registration, consistent branding, website design and development, website features, promotion (including details of what search engines look for), website maintenance and the importance of regular updates.

We will also cover aspects of marketing via the internet, the dos and don'ts of email-based marketing and newsletters, and offer you information on avoiding and coping with unwanted SPAM, "phishing" attempts and other intrusive behaviour.

Please note that this is not a public event; it is open to new IPPA Licentiate members only

March 1st, 2010New Website for Fusion Photography

The new website for Keith Arkins & Jennifer Barker of Fusion Photography is now live.

Based on the OnSight SiteShell, the new site provides a comprehensive showcase of Keith & Jennifer's Wedding & Corporate Photography.

Comprised of wedding and corporate galleries, client testimonials, package details and a news & blog section, the site is easily updated using the SiteShell's inbuilt content management system.

The site also includes the OnSight Viewing & Ordering System, allowing their wedding and corporate clients to log in to view, compare and order their images.
